Diversity Staffing Pros, LLC and Cornell University’s ILR School Partner Again on Diversity Management and Certification Program

Diversity Staffing Pros LLC, a full service placement agency, views diversity as a business imperative to advance in today’s changing marketplace. As part of its offerings, Diversity Staffing Pros LLC will offer Cornell University’s Diversity Management and Certification Program in Boston from February to July 2011. Participants who complete the course and examination will receive a Certificate of Completion from the ILR School and the distinguished credentials of CCDP (Cornell Certified Diversity Professional).

Cornell was one of the nation’s first universities to develop and promote, diversity, inclusion and EEO programs that would address the need for better diversity management. It continues to lead the way by providing focused, relevant training that meets the professional development needs of diversity professionals in learning strategies that link diversity to organizational performance.

Kim Dukes-Rivers, founder and principal of Diversity Staffing Pros, LLC, has successfully completed the program. She believes participating in the program is of significant benefit to human resources professionals because “many organizations struggle with all of the moving parts that must be in place to build a sustainable diversity program. Cornell’s Diversity Management Program provides the road map for the strategy behind successful diversity programs and teaches them in a way that allows you to walk out of the classroom and implement programs in your organization immediately. From February to July, 14 classes will be held at Putnam Investments, One Post Office Square, Boston, Mass. Participants will also be required to complete a diversity-related project graded by Cornell University and a certification exam. Enrollment is limited to 25 participants and seats are reserved on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration deadline is February 1.
