Aon Corporation is the leading global provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage, and human resources solutions and outsourcing through its more than 59,000 colleagues worldwide. Recently, the company announced that for the fourth straight year it has received a perfect 100% rating in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s Corporate Equality Index. Aon was one of 337 U.S. companies to achieve this honor. The Corporate Equality Index rated 615 companies on the extent to which they protected their gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender employees, consumers and investors. Ratings are based on such factors as nondiscrimination policies, diversity training and benefits for domestic partners and transgender employees.
“Diversity and inclusion are at the core of Aon’s 59,000 colleagues, and we are honored to win this prestigious rating for the fourth straight year,” said Greg Case, president and chief executive officer of Aon. “At Aon, people are our most important asset, and we value the unique background, skills and creativity that each of our colleagues brings to serving our clients. Earning this award demonstrates our continued commitment to providing a global workplace where our colleagues can thrive professionally and reach their full potential.”
Aon’s diversity and inclusion goals focus on continuous improvement by hiring the best, building the best and being the best. Aon’s global and regional diversity initiatives aim to embrace the needs of clients and the talent imperatives of each community served by Aon and cascade those strategies from the executive level all the way down to the newest Aon colleague.
